JANICE’S STORIES BEHIND THE PAINTING
1. I have always wanted a Shepherd’s hut. Alas, I don’t think I will ever own one, but I can illustrate my dream.
2. Sheep graze in the adjacent field to us. The little lambs give much pleasure as they bounce and run around. I have so many photographs of these cute animals, giving plenty of inspiration.
3. Spring is my favourite time of year with the abundance of fresh growth and sunny colours.
4. Old farm machinery about the farm, where our home, a converted barn, is situated, is a source of inspiration.
5. A constant visitor is Mr. Pheasant. Along with his rival males and a harem of female pheasants, they enjoy the seed we put out for the birds and strut about the garden as if they own it.
